JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The All Indonesia Student Executive Board (BEM SI) is planning to hold another rally on Friday (10/16/2020), at 1:00 pm WIB this afternoon in the Medan Merdeka area, Central Jakarta.
BEM SI coordinator Remy Hastian said that this action was a peaceful action as an embodiment of the intellectual and moral movement of Indonesian students.
In general terms, this action still expresses the repeal of the Job Creation Law approved by the DPR and the government.

There are three demands that BEM SI presented at the protest this time.
“First, to urge the president to issue Perppu in order to repeal the Copyright Law that was promulgated on October 5, 2020. Second, to condemn the actions of the government that seeks to intervene in the movement and the voice of the people for the rejection of the Labor Law, “Remy explained in a press release that BEM SI received. “By all means, the government is trying to brainwash the people with all kinds of tools it has so that people can stop their fight to reject the Copyright Law,” Remy said.
