The flight, which was carrying 114 adults and two children, and a small child, ran into problems after takeoff. The pilot decided to return to the airport because there was an indicator in the cockpit indicating that there was a technical problem.
At that time, the Batik Air plane had landed again at Sultan Thaha Airport, Jambi and the plane stopped at a position on the runway. That is why a process is needed to move the position of the aircraft to the aircraft parking platform.
“In an effort to ensure the safety and security of flights, the decision to return to the original airport is correct. It is about immediately carrying out more checks and controls on the Airbus 320-200 PK-LUT registration aircraft,” he explained. Danang.
“All the crew and passengers were taken and directed to the waiting room of the airport terminal building, to obtain more information and handle delays in departures,” he added.
Danang said Batik Air apologized for the inconvenience caused by the disruption of the ID-6803 guests’ flights. Currently, the company also offers compensation for the postponement of departure.
“In addition, Batik Air makes it easy for guests on request, to make changes to departure time (reschedule) or submit ticket refund process (refund),” Danang explained.
