Bareskrim: There were 18 gunshot wounds to the body of 6 FPI Laskar: National Okezone

JAKARTA – Bareskrim Polri has received the results of the autopsy of the bodies of six members of the FPI special laskar who died during a shootout between the FPI laskar and the police on the Jakarta Cikampek KM 50 toll road. The shooting took place on Monday 7 from December.

The six people who died were Faiz, Ambon, Andi, Reza, Lutfi and Gaddafi. All are known to be members of the DKI Jakarta FPI Laskar, who guarded the Grand Imam of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) Habib Rizieq Shihab.

The director of Criminal Actions Umun (Dirtipidum) Bareskrim Polri, Brigadier General Pol Andi Rian said, from the results of an autopsy performed by a forensic doctor for post-mortem surgery, 18 gunshot wounds were found in the body.

“According to the autopsy carried out by a post-mortem forensic doctor, it is stated that in general there are 18 (eighteen) gunshot wounds,” Andi said when confirmed via text message on Friday (12/18/2020).

Andi denied the idea that there were other injuries to the body. According to him, the autopsy revealed no signs of other violent injuries. “There were no other signs of violence on the bodies of all the bodies,” he said.

As previously reported, Metro Jaya Regional Police Chief Inspector General Pol Fadil Imran explained the chronology of the shooting and the deaths of 6 suspected Habib Rizieq supporters.

In this regard, we, Polda Metro Jaya then carried out an investigation where the information was found and when the members of Polda Metro Jaya followed a vehicle that was suspected of being a follower of the MRS, the officer’s vehicle was intercepted and then attacked with a firearm and sword, he said.

Because they were attacked, Fadil said, the threatened members were forced to fight back. They then fired a measured shot at them.

“The members who were threatened with their safety for being attacked acted with firmness and restraint, so that the group suspected of being followers of the MRS, a total of 10 people, died up to 6,” he said.
