jpnn.com, JAKARTA – Police investigators have received information from Sugi Nur Rahardja alias Gus Nur about the motive for transmitting a sentence that is considered to contain insults against Nahdlatul Ulama (NU).
For the researchers, Gus Nur admitted that he uploaded a statement through his YouTube account to show his concern for the UN.
“The person in question actually made the content because sending the upload on YouTube is clear evidence that he cares about the UN,” said on Tuesday (10/27) the head of the Public Information Office of the National Police, General Brigadier Pol Awi Setiyono at the Bareskrim Polri office, Jakarta.
This is known from Sugi’s test results.
According to suspect Sugi, the current UN is different from the previous UN.
“The current UN is different from the old one,” Awi said, imitating Sugi’s words.
In addition to examining Sugi as a suspect, so far investigators from the Cyber Crimes Directorate of the Criminal Investigation Police have requested the statements of four witnesses, namely a crime expert and a linguist.
Investigators are still awaiting the results of the digital forensic examination of the confiscated evidence.
