“I want to thank all the partners (voters) who have participated in this election,” Laporta said after being crowned the new president of Barcelona, ​​according to Mundo Deportivo’s BolaSport.com.

Laporta will take office at the earliest this weekend or early next week with a term of up to 6 years.
