Tottenham Hotspur fans must be patient waiting for Gareth Bale’s debut. Bale is still injured and is expected to play next month.

Bale has just finished his move to Tottenham from Real Madrid, on Saturday (9/19/2020) in the afternoon local time. Bale was loaned for one season at a cost of around 13 million euros.

Bale has been in London since Friday (9/18) to take care of his transfer documents. Bale even had his first medical exam in Madrid before flying to London.

Well, from the results of the medical examination, Tottenham received some unpleasant news. Bale is known to be in poor shape and suffered an injury after returning from defending the Wales national team in the UEFA Nations League earlier this month.

Bale’s injury does not explain the type of injury, but it does not seem to be far from the problems in the thigh area or in the hamstring that have been afflicting him in Madrid.

For this reason, Bale must rest until mid-October, so that he can only make his official debut after the international break. Bale will miss several games such as against Southampton, Leyton Orient, Shkendija, Newcastle United and Manchester United.

Bale may only be able to play West Ham United on October 17 or Burnley a week later.

“We currently estimate that he will be fit only after the international break in October,” said an official statement from Tottenham.

For Gareth Bale, this is the second time he has played for Tottenham after his first stint from 2007 to 2013. During his six years at White Hart Lane, Bale made 203 appearances in all competitions and scored 55 goals.

His impressive run at Tottenham saw him recruited by Madrid in 2013 for a fee of € 91 million. Can Bale get up with Tottenham?
