MAJALENGKA, KOMPAS.com – Avanza car with police number Z 1167 LD, on Friday (12/2/2021) the night was suddenly lost in the forest of Gunung Putri Majalengka, West Java. The Avanza was lost around 23.00 WIB.

The Avanza, driven by Enjang Imron (49), a Tasikmalaya resident, has 7 passengers and one of them is a 3-year-old boy. They got lost on the trip to Tasikmalaya.

“As a result of the thick fog and heavy rain, the driver still did not know the road,” Majalengka Police Public Relations Chief Aipda Riyana said in his statement to Kompas.com, Saturday (2/13/2021).

Riyana explained that the lost Outpost was in a remote location 5 kilometers from the main road. They got lost in the woods for 3 hours and finally found a resident who reported it to the police.

“At that time, members of the Cingambul Police picket guard received information from the public about the street car incident. Finally, at two in the morning, he was successfully evacuated,” Riyana said.

Avanza’s car was lost, it was a family from Tasikmalaya who was returning from visiting a sick person in Cirebon. They returned through the forest, then around eleven o’clock at night they got lost.

“The passengers and their drivers were then evacuated to the home of one of the residents at the site. Everyone and the police evacuated them safely. While the vehicle was still at the site,” Riyana said.

Gunung Putri Majalengka Forest itself is a forest full of bushes of bamboo trees. The stories of local residents also in the place often happen that the cars are lost.
