Asnawi Mangkualam Bahar made his 2021 K League 2 debut. He appeared as a starter for Ansan Greeners against Busan IPark.

In a match held at the Busan Gudeok Stadium, Busan, on Saturday (3/4/2021), Asnawi was down for 60 minutes. The match itself ended in a 1-1 draw.

Asnawi from the beginning played as a right back. This is a bit different than usual, where Asnawi is used to playing as a right-back or midfielder, which is a position early in his career.

Asnawi, who is playing a new role, seems to be having a hard time adjusting. The 21-year-old looked pretty clumsy and fumbled several times.

Visiting Ansan was able to score first through Choi Geon-joo in the 42nd minute. The 17th defender scored a spectacular goal from outside the penalty area after receiving a chest pass from Kim Ryun-do.

Ansan managed to maintain that advantage until the end of the first half. Then Asnawi was retired in the 61st minute to be replaced by Lim Jae-hyuk.

Five minutes after Asnawi left, Ansan conceded. Jung Hoon-sung managed to take advantage of the chaotic situation to lead Busan to a 1-1 draw with Ansan in the 66th minute.

The tie score did not change until the end of the match, so both teams had to settle for one point. Fortunately, these results did not make a difference for Ansan in the K League 2 standings, who still finished second with eight points.

Additionally, The Green Wolves will face Jeonnam Dragon on Sunday (11/4). Jeonnam is currently in sixth place in the rankings with a score of six points.
