KOMPAS.com – BPJS Kesehatan has a Re-Enrollment Program (GILANG) for some JKN-KIS participants from the segments of Workers Receiving Official State Wages (PPU PN) and Non-Workers (BP).
This is to follow up on the KPK recommendations, the results of the BPKP audit for the financial year 2018 and the results of the meetings with ministries / agencies.
BPJS Kesehatan provides the public with the opportunity to update the data if the KIS card has not been filled in with the Population Identification Number (NIK) data, or has been completed but not in accordance with the KTP, or has not been registered in the Dukcapil of the Ministry of the Interior.
This refers to article 13 paragraph 1 of Law Number 23 of 2006 on Population Administration that all residents must have a NIK.
In addition, referring to Article 8, paragraph 2, of the Presidential Regulation number 82 of 2018 on health insurance, the Healthy Indonesian Card must contain at least the name and identity number of the participants registered in the NIK, except the newly born.

Meanwhile, re-enrollment can be done from November 1, 2020.
BPJS Head of Public Relations Kesehatan M. Iqbal Anas Ma’ruf explained that re-registration was required as some participant details had not been completed with NIK.
He explained that if BPJS Kesehatan participants do not re-register, their cards will be temporarily deactivated.
“The card has not been used in a while. It should beto update KK / KTP, “Iqbal told Kompas.com, Saturday (10/31/2020).

“The number (which requires registration) is not much. If you can show e-KTP for to update, it was immediately active at that time, “he said.
Before re-registering, JKN-KIS participants can verify their membership status via:
- JKN mobile app
- WhatsApp information service (CHIKA) at 08118750400
- BPJS 1500400 Healthcare Center
- A BPJS officer! who’s in the hospital
- KPK JAGA App
If at the time of checking the membership status, a new registration notification appears, then the participant must update the NIK data.

He said this program is working with various government agencies such as PWRI, PEPABRI, TASPEN and ASABRI to encourage participants to check JKN-KIS membership status and re-register for those who are temporarily disabled.
