“When Rizieq still insists on touring the East Java regions, we will boycott the airport at both Juanda Airport in Surabaya and Abdulrachman Saleh, Malang,” Arek Suroboyo Alliance Action Chief Ahmad Zazuli said in front of the Grahadi State Building, Surabaya. , Tuesday (11/24).

Zazuli said his party rejected Rizieq’s arrival because it did not want the lives of the East Javanese people to be harmed by preaching that had provocative tones, hatred and inappropriate prayers.

“The people of East Java are humanistic, pluralistic and promote unity. Don’t let this be disturbed by their presence (Rizieq),” he said.

Not only that, Zazuli admitted that his party rejected Rizieq because he was concerned that there would be crowds that would risk causing clusters of corona virus transmission.

“Also, his presence will have a tremendous impact, there will definitely be a crowd. There is still Covid-19, it is not over yet. We do not want any cluster to be related to it,” he said.

On the other hand, Zazuli also asked Rizieq to be open about his current health status. Rizieq is currently known to be resting from fatigue.
