ARAGON – Suzuki Ecstar Team rider Alex Rins came out as the winner of the 2020 Aragon MotoGP. Taking place at the Aragon Circuit, Spain, on Sunday (10/18/2020) WIB early in the morning, Rins was able to impress from the start to the end of the race.
The road of racing
At the start of the race, the three Yamaha riders immediately hit the gas. Although Franco Morbidelli was at the forefront, it was not long before Maverick Vinales took over the leadership. Meanwhile, Fabio Quartararo and Morbidelli are in second-third place.
Meanwhile, the surprise came from Rins, who started the race from 10th place. He unexpectedly managed to break into fourth position behind the Yamaha trio. Rins then issued threats to all three YZR-M1 riders.
It is true that, slowly but surely, Rins began to overtake the Yamaha riders. Starting from Morbidelli, Quartararo, until finally following Vinales. Rins also managed to be at the forefront with 15 laps remaining to the race. After that, Rins also led the race in great comfort.
Meanwhile, there was a big change behind Rins and Vinales. The two Petronas Yamaha SRT Team riders, Morbidelli and Quartararo, slowed down. Morbidelli himself fell to fifth and Quartararo dispersed into the top 10.

In the last 10 laps, there was stiff competition at the front position. Mir managed to take second place and suddenly a Repsol Honda rider, Alex Márquez, appeared, who managed to get into third place. They both successfully passed Vinales.
After that, Rins, Mir, and Alex both fought to be first. There was fierce competition between Mir and Alex, who were fighting to finish second. Whereas Rins feels quite comfortable leading the race.
