Jakarta, CNN Indonesia – PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) or AP II revealed passengers at the Soekarno-Hatta airport (Soetta) who want to travel by plane must bring three documents, namely, ticket, certificate of freedom covid-19, and a cover letter from the local office or appliance.

All three must pass special health protocols imposed at the airport. The protocol was implemented following a government policy that relaxed the use of transport facilities through the Circular Task Force for the Acceleration of Manipulation Covid-19 Number 4 of 2020, and the SE of the Minister of Transport (Menhub) Number 31 of 2020.

AP II President Director Muhammad Awaluddin explained the flow of health protocols for airplane passengers at Soekarno Hatta Airport. He said that all three documents had to be prepared before arriving at the airport.

Awaluddin said the health certificates must be prepared together or before the purchase of the ticket. The letter is a mandatory prerequisite for passengers before purchasing airline tickets.
He stressed that Soetta Airport was unable to provide health certificates or provide rapid tests to potential passengers. Preparation is said to be carried out by the passengers themselves together with the hospital.

“We want to emphasize that prospective passengers purchasing tickets must include a free covid-19 health certificate. That is a condition of purchasing tickets,” Awaluddin said at Terminal 3 of Soetta Airport on Sunday (10/5).

Workers, such as ASN, TNI and Polri, can include official letters from their respective institutions as a complete travel document. As for private workers, Awaluddin explained, they can present an introduction to the local RT or RW.

All documents will be verified by group team officers at post co-19, which consists of officers from the Airport Health Office (KKP).

After verifying the health certificate and cover letter, potential passengers will be asked to fill out a Health Alert Card (HAC). After completion, potential passengers will have permission to enter their respective destinations.

“If the certificate already exists, it means that all the documents have been verified. It is appropriate to fly and then enter the waiting room to prepare for departure,” he said.

“Now the next health protocol is applied within the responsibility of the airline. As physical distancing related to the needs of the people inside, “he continued.

Awaluddin appealed to potential passengers to arrive before flight time, about 3-4 hours before departure to anticipate delays in verifying documents.

Awaluddin also emphasized that there was no welcoming activity at Soetta airport. The application of the standard of health protocol is a tightening of the possible passengers during the prohibition of return home.

“The point is that, to this day, homecoming activities are still prohibited. There are no homecoming activities at the airport, especially in this temple space. What is happening is the limitation of people.” Awaluddin said.
