Jakarta – DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan called President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) the “former President Governor”. PPP believes that Anies Baswedan needs to demonstrate its performance if it is to follow in Jokowi’s footsteps.
Initially, the president of the PPP DPP Achmad Baidowi or Awiek raised the subject of congestion that Anies had discussed. Awiek did not deny that the problem was solved thanks to the coordination and delegation of authority from the central government to the regions.

Also, Awiek later compared Anies to Jokowi when he was regional head. Awiek said Anies still needed more testing to be able to ‘compete’ in 2024.
