Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Regional leaders of the Jabodetabek region held virtual meetings as a follow-up to the full PSBB decision implemented by DKI Jakarta on Thursday afternoon (10/9). This decision will have a great impact on the lives of the people in the surrounding areas, Tangerang, Depok, Bekasi to Bogor.
The regional heads present were the Governor of West Java, Ridwan Kamil, the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan, and the regional secretary of Banten province. Deputy Mayor of Bogor, Mayor of Tangerang, Mayor of Tangsel, Regent of Tangerang, Regent of Bogor, Deputy Mayor of Bekasi and Deputy Mayor of Bogor and representing the Mayor of Depok.
This meeting intensified communication among regional leaders. This includes sharing the use of hospitals to manage Covid-19. As for the hospital in the DKI Jakarta area, it is suspected that it is almost full due to the increasing positive number of Covid-19.
“Until now, there will continue to be greater coordination between the provincial governments of DKI, Banten and West Java. One of them is support for the use of hospitals and isolation areas that can still be used by DKI residents at Jabodetabek Hospital. The city of Tangsel and the city of Bogor are among those that have hosted Covid-19 patients from Jakarta. “Bogor Deputy Mayor Dedie Rachim told CNBC Indonesia, Thursday (9/10).
The discussion about the use of the hospital is very important today. Increasingly eroding capacity threatens treatment. Communication between district officials is key. From there, policies related to PSBB are still being discussed dynamically.
“To determine whether the PSBB is full or other alternatives still need to be discussed again this week,” he said.
Another thing that is no less important is the question of narrowing access to and from the area, as was done in the last stage of the Large Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB).
At a regional leadership meeting in Jabodetabek today, no decision has been made to restrict human movement, including the use of the exit / entry permit (SIKM) or the tightening of the KRL.
“It has not been discussed (SIKM and KRL). DKI, West Java and Banten are still looking for the correct format so that the problems in the management of public health and economic billing can be online,” Dedie said.
However, regarding the possibility of using SIKM to enter the Jabodetabek area and the tightening of the KRL, there are still opportunities to occur. This is because communication between the regional leaders in Jabodetabek is still difficult. Dedie said that talks will continue to overcome Covid-19.
“The point is still PSBB, but the format of the technical details will be discussed again,” he said.
