JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan said the condition of the capital city is concerning as the level of transmission of Covid-19 is increasing.
According to Anies, the increase in the number of Covid-19 transmissions is directly proportional to the number of tests conducted by the provincial government of DKI Jakarta.
Anies claims that the provincial government of DKI Jakarta has tested five times more than the ideal limit set by the World Health Organization (WHO).
From the tests carried out, the addition of daily cases is also increasing.
“In Indonesia, there are only two provinces that (the number of tests) exceeds the WHO figure, namely Jakarta and West Sumatra. Jakarta is now concerned, why? In the last three weeks, the number (in addition to daily positive cases) has continued to increase, what does that mean? There are also many broadcasts, “Anies was quoted as saying in the KompasTV video, on Thursday (3/9/2020).

Therefore, Anies urged citizens to be disciplined when carrying out 3M’s health protocols, that is, wearing masks, keeping your distance, and washing your hands regularly.
Meanwhile, the provincial government of DKI, as the policy-maker, will work on 3Q, that is, testing, tracing and treatment.
“So our task is to promote 3M, because 3Q has been done. Jakarta has done 3Q, now let’s make sure the community is working on 3M,” Anies said.
The increase in the number of Covid-19 positive patients in Jakarta again recorded the highest number as of last Thursday, namely 1,406 people.
So the cumulative number of Covid-19 positive patients in DKI Jakarta is 43,709 people.
A total of 32,424 people were declared cured with a cure rate of 74.2 percent.
Then 1,253 people died with a death rate of 2.9 percent.
