London –
Chelsea only drew 1-1 against Aston Villa. Andreas Christensen is in the spotlight who is held responsible for the Blues goal.
In week 16 Premier League, Chelsea was stopped by Villa 1-1 at Stamford Bridge, London, England, on Tuesday (12/29/2020) WIB morning. Olivier Giroud’s goal in the first half, answered Anwar El Ghazi at the start of the second half.
The goal against Chelsea is a topic of conversation. Particularly focused on center back Andreas Christensen.
In the process of Aston Villa’s goal, Christensen was seen lying on the field after a duel with Jack Grealish. The 24-year-old defender was still in bed, but moments later Grealish got up again to play and receive a pass.
Grealish then passed it to the right, which Matthew Cash accepted. Cash then sends a cross, which El Ghazi can maximize on goals.
Christensen continued to lie and was receiving treatment. Before long, he looked good and played again until the final minutes of the game.
Former Tottenham Hotspur manager Tim Sherwood, who is now a football expert, made scathing remarks at Andreas Christensen. The Danish gamer he called like a baby!
“Christensen is like a baby lying on the floor,” he said, quoted by Mirror.
“Why is he still lying on the field? Why doesn’t he get up and play again to protect the defense? He is not injured, he is just pretending to be injured,” he continued.
Sherwood’s team also said that, if appropriate, Andreas Christensen was often endorsed. Previously, Christensen had also made a mistake when Chelsea were beaten by Liverpool at the start of the Premier League week by committing a hard foul by hitting Sadio Mane.
“He is not good enough. He plays for a great club, he should be stronger,” he concluded.
Andreas Christensen himself is a Chelsea academy graduate who broke into the main squad in 2015. He has played 107 times in all competitions.
