Allegedly drunk while driving a car at high speed, Deputy Regent Yalimo killed the police

KOMPAS.com – Regent Deputy Yalimo Erdi Dabi hit a policewoman named Christin Meisye Batfeny in Jayapura South District, Jayapura City, Papua, on Wednesday (9/16/2020) around 07:30 WIT.

Bripka Christin is a member of Polwan Sat Bid Propam Polda Papua.

Erdi is suspected of driving a drunk car and has no SIM or STNK.

The incident started when Erdi and a colleague were driving a Toyota Hilux at high speed from Jayapura to Entrop.

Around the scene, the car Erdi was driving lost control and headed into the right lane.

From the opposite direction, Christin arrived on a motorcycle. Accidents are inevitable.

“As a result of the accident, Bripka Christin suffered a strong impact on the nape, his right knee was torn and fractured which resulted in the death of the victim,” said Jayapura AKBP Police Chief Gustav, through a statement received on Wednesday.

As a result of the accident, Bripka Christin suffered a severe impact on the back of the neck.

Erdi and his colleagues are currently undergoing medical tests at Jayapura Regional Hospital to find out the levels of alcohol in their bodies.

Erdi served as Yalimo’s deputy regent and participated in the 2020 Yalimo elections.
