BANGKOK, KOMPAS.com – Thai King Maha Vajiralongkorn returned the official title and military rank to his concubine, Sineenat Wongvajirapakdi (35).
The decision was announced by the palace on Wednesday (2/9/2020) as published by Reuters.
Sineenat, who was accused of infidelity almost a year ago, disappeared from the public radar.
The announcement also came as Thailand was rocked by anti-government protests.

Sineenat, in October 2019, was stripped of the title Chao Khun Phara according to a statement from the palace.
They called her “ungrateful” for attempting to sabotage the appointment of Queen Suthida Tidjai and for attempting to interfere.
However, a statement published in Royal Gazette on Wednesday Sineenat declared “pristine.”
And as such, he was entitled to the titles of royal nobility and all previous positions in the palace.

“Therefore, the revocation of royal titles, the removal of official positions in the service of the crown in military capacities and military ranks, and the withdrawal of all declarations were never carried out,” the statement said.
The statement added that the decision was effective as of August 28.
Sineenat disappeared after being punished by the palace and his whereabouts are unknown.
This week, the newspapers image reports that he had reached Germany, where the King of Thailand spent most of his time.
Vajiralongkorn was formally crowned constitutional king in May 2019 following the death of his father in 2016, who had ruled for 70 years.

A few days before his coronation, Vajiralongkorn married his personal bodyguard deputy director, Suthida Tidjai (42), and gave him the title of Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana.
More than two months later, he bestowed the title of Chao Khun Phara on Sineenat, his former nurse and bodyguard.
