JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – In Rosi’s broadcast on Kompas TV on Thursday (10/15/2020), political communication expert Ade Armando responded to the arrest of several activists from the Coalition for Action to Save Indonesia (EE. USA).
Following the arrest of three US officials, namely Jumhur Hidayat, Anton Permana and Syahganda Nainggolan, on suspicion of being involved in the riots of the demonstration against the omnibus law of the Employment Creation Act.
OUR activists were suspected of being the masterminds behind the riots that sought to overthrow President Joko Widodo.
“This means that WE now, if we read in the political communication, we have really been the target groups, it is suspected that they were involved in what were supposedly deliberate riots to overthrow Jokowi,” he explained.
Ade assessed that the riot was clearly planned, although it was different from a group of people who protested against the approval of the Employment Creation Law.
Ade added that he did not deny that there were coordinators who organized demonstrations and riots, including involving students.
“And the riot was clearly planned. Some were carrying Molotov cocktails, there were children carrying catapults, there were people carrying sharp weapons, people who didn’t really understand what was in question but were involved,” Ade said.
He also explained that the demonstration participants were not workers, but STM children, high school students, high school students, who had nothing to do with work.
