KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. The government has provided an update on the number of positive cases of the corona virus (Covid-19) in Indonesia. The number of new positive corona cases continues to grow.
Data from the Covid-19 Management Working Group indicated that as of Sunday (11/10) there were 4,497 additional new cases of corona infection in Indonesia, bringing the total to 333,449 corona positive cases.
Meanwhile, the number of people who recovered from corona cases increased by 3,546 to become 255,027 people.
Meanwhile, the number of people who died due to the coronavirus in Indonesia increased by 79 to 11,844 people.

Due to the large number of additional cases of positive corona, the government asked the public to have a high and collective responsibility to comply with health protocols. Because to suppress the crown bud, you start by reducing the transmission rate.
For this reason, the government emphasizes the importance of 3M’s behavior, that is, wearing masks, washing hands, keeping a distance and avoiding crowds.
According to many studies, diligent hand washing with soap can reduce the risk of transmitting viruses, including the corona virus, by 35%.
Wearing a mask can reduce the risk of transmission of the corona virus by up to 45% when wearing a cloth mask. Meanwhile, if you wear a medical mask, the risk of transmission is reduced by 75%.
