JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Transmission of the coronavirus still occurs in Indonesia as of Friday (10/30/2020). This can be seen in the continued appearance of new cases of Covid-19.
Government data as of Friday at 12 noon WIB showed there were 2,897 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.
The addition has caused the number of Covid-19 cases in Indonesia to now reach 406,945 people, as of the announcement of the first case on March 2, 2020.

This information was transmitted by the Covid-19 Management Working Group through data received by journalists on Friday afternoon.

Although cases continue to rise, hope continues to grow with the increase in recovered Covid-19 patients.
Data presented by the government shows that in the past 24 hours there were an additional 4,517 Covid-19 patients who recovered after they were deemed no longer infected with the corona virus.
They were declared cured based on the results of the examination by the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) method that gave negative results for the corona virus.
Therefore, the total number of Covid-19 patients who have recovered since the start of the pandemic to date is 334,295 people.

However, there is still sad news with the increasing number of patients who have died after being infected with the corona virus.
In the period from October 29 to 30, 2020, 81 patients with Covid-19 died. Therefore, the Covid-19 death rate in Indonesia has reached 13,782 people.
In addition, the government also stated that there are currently 68,292 people who have the status of suspects.
