Jakarta, CNN Indonesia – One of the mass organizations in Bekasi asking for vacation allowances (THR) to the partner or businessman through a circular letter. The mass organization even summoned several local security officials.
The circular photo circulated on social networks. The circulating photo also included the names of several officials. Some of them are East Bekasi Subdistrict Chiefs, East Bekasi Police Chiefs and East Bekasi Danramil.
Regarding the circulation of the letter, East Bekasi Police Chief Kompol Sutoyo called the mass organization.
“I have not called, let alone using my copy, copy the chief of police of all kinds, I have not called,” Sutoyo said when they contacted me on Wednesday (05/13).
Sutoyo said he also asked CSOs to withdraw the circular request for THR. In addition, he also asked the mass organizations to make an apology statement for the circulation of the letter.
“Making a statement will not be repeated again and apologizing for entering the names of the officials, copies of the officials are not allowed,” he said.
Sutoyo broadcast that his party could not prohibit mass organizations from asking for the THR. However, he cautioned that THR’s request was not carried out for extortion.
Furthermore, Sutoyo said, seeing the current economic situation of people in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic (Covid-19).
“If it is not to prohibit (the withdrawal of THR) it cannot, the important thing is that there is no extortion, but the situation and the economy are like that,” he said.

On the photo, on the letterhead, is written ‘Pancasila Youth Branch Children Leadership, East Bekasi District – Bekasi City’.
The content of the letter are THR requests to companies / partners and companies in the context of Eid al-Fitr. Instead, CBOs will be ready to provide security in the place of business.
“With the East Bekasi Pancasila Youth Organization, we, as local children, are ready to provide security and comfort to the entrepreneurs who open their businesses in our area,” says the letter. (dis / pmg)
