General Director of Disease Prevention and Control (P2P), Ministry of Health Achmad Yurianto removed from his post. Yurianto is currently serving as an expert staff of the Ministry of Health for Health Technology and Globalization.
This news was confirmed by Yurianto. He admitted that he was appointed to his new position at 2.30pm WIB, Friday (10/23). Yurianto’s appointment was based on a presidential decree because he was a Tier I official.
“That’s right,” Yurianto said when contacted. CNNIndonesia.com, Friday (23/10).
Yurianto still does not have a year as Director General of the Ministry of Health P2P. He was named CEO of P2P on March 9.
But now he has been removed from that position. In this regard, Yurianto is reluctant to speak much.
“This is an ordinary mutation,” he said.
Separately, the secretary general of the Ministry of Health, Oscar Primadi, said the same. He said job rotations were common.
“We see this as normal. We want to optimize Covid-19 so that we can focus more,” Oscar said.
In addition, the CEO of P2P, who was left by Yurianto, will be replaced by the working group. Oscar said the Ministry of Health had not appointed anyone to fill the Plt P2P position.
Yurianto was previously registered as a candidate for the Board of Directors of BPJS Kesehatan for the 2021-2026 term. Yurianto’s name was announced by the BPJS Kesehatan Selection Committee along with 183 registrants who approved the registry administrative selection to become candidates for the Board of Oversight and Candidates for the Board of Directors of BPJS Kesehatan for the period 2021-2026.
The announcement was contained in letter number 05 / Announcement / PANSEL / BPJS-K / X / 2020. The letter contained Pansel Decree Number: 01 / KEP / PANSEL / BPJS-K / X / 2020 which was issued on October 17 2020 and signed by the President of the Pansel Supply.
