POTENSIBUSNIS – Information about demonstration plans or demonstrations on Friday, December 18, 2020 received a response from the MUI management.
The news is circulating that the demonstration will be followed by various community organizations or mass organizations at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta.
These organizations include, FPI, 212 Alumni Brotherhood (PA), Ulama Fatwa Guard National Movement (GNPF).

The Central Executive Board of the Indonesian Ulema Council (DPP MUI), asked the Front of Islamic Defenders (FPI) and other mass organizations not to hold demonstrations.
This was relayed by DPP MUI Secretary General Amirsyah Tambunan, because the demonstrations could not be avoided in the crowd and had the potential to hire Covid.
“I urge all parties to refrain from the crowd. Because the rally cannot protect itself from the crowd that has the potential to contract COVID-19,” Amirsyah said.

Amirsyah believed that the masses of the FPI could hold demonstrations or convey their demands in other ways.
