Jakarta, CNN Indonesia –
Murder Incident Team Leader (TP3) front laskar Pembela Islam (FPI), Abdullah Hehamahua he criticized the police for identifying the 6 FPI Laskar soldiers who had died as suspects.
He questioned the stages of the procedure to determine the suspect. This is because, Abdullah said, the 6 laskar never had the status of a denounced or witness by the police.
“Now, before they died, they had no status. They were not suspect status, witness status, reported. They were killed and declared suspects. This is extraordinary. Where did that come from?” Abdullah told CNNIndonesia.com, Thursday (4/3).
The former KPK adviser added that the Penal Code (KUHP) regulates the authority that criminal prosecution will be automatically withdrawn if the accused dies. The legal apparatus should have known these rules.
“Maybe because Indonesia is no longer a country on earth, but you enter a country in space, so in space it is different from Indonesia. The Penal Code for space is different from the KUHP in Indonesia”, Abdullah said.
Furthermore, Abdullah admitted that it was the first time he had found the case of a person who had died and was still a suspect.
“After all that I have studied law, this is the first time I have met him,” he said.
He said TP3 will continue to provide support to the families of the 6 laskar victims who died. He also plans to make a ‘white paper’ that explains the facts and facts in the case of the murder of the 6 FPI soldiers.
“So TP3 is only advocating for the families of the victims so that they are not terrorized, bribed, bribed, not intimidated, that’s all TP3 did,” he said.
