JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – A man with the initials ABW was found dead in Jalan Sapi Perah, Pondok Ranggon, East Jakarta on Thursday (9/16/2020). The man is suspected of being a member of the National Police.
This was confirmed by the head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Yusri Yunus when it was confirmed.
“Yes, (members of the National Police). They are still processing the TKP and are being investigated,” Yusri said.
He said ABW was suspected of being robbed. However, Yusri did not want to explain the chronology of the robbery incident.

Kompas.com also visited the place where ABW was found dead. According to Kompas.com’s observation at 09.50 WIB, the asphalt where ABW was found dead was covered in dirt to cover the blood marks.
Apparently, the bloodstains were still visible at the site even though they had been covered up.
In addition, several police officers who were not wearing uniform were observed conducting the crime scene at the scene.
One of the witnesses named Niki said that the incident happened around 0500 WIB. At that moment Niki only saw the crowd of policemen who had surrounded ABW’s body.
Not only that, Niki saw a lot of blood splattered on the asphalt where ABW was lying.
“I saw a lot of stained blood. As if they were dragging it. But I don’t know what kind of wound was bleeding,” he said.
Until now, the police are still processing the TKP at the scene.
