jpnn.com, BANDUNG – Glass from Nurul Jamil Mosque at Jalan Bukit Dago Selatan No. 1, Coblong, Bandung City, was damaged by a burly man who claimed to have a mental disorder.
According to witness testimony, the bald, shirtless man, who at the time of the incident was wearing only a dark green sarong, broke the 12-inch thick glass by throwing blocks of pavement.
In a short video shown by residents, the plump man in his 30s claims to be crazy.
When residents asked the reason for the release, the plump man again mentioned that he had a mental disorder.
“Abdi mah nu gelo (I’m crazy),” said the man when neighbors tied him to a mahogany tree in front of the mosque.
DKM administrator Nurul Jamil, Syaiful Mujab, was one of the eyewitnesses. He was one of the first to learn of the launch incident.
According to Syaiful, the launch took place on Wednesday (9/23) morning, around 06.00 WIB.
At the time, Syaiful was with other DKM administrators in the secretariat room next to the mosque.
