Bisnis.com, TANGERANG – The Tangerang City Health Office has prepared two puskesmas to care for people under surveillance (ODP), patients under surveillance (PDP) and people without symptoms (OTG) without comorbidities needing isolation facilities.

Tangerang City Health Office Director Liza Puspadewi said the Panunggangan Barat Health Center in the Cibodas District and the Gebang Raya Health Center in the Periuk District were prepared to care for patients at risk of contracting the corona virus who needed isolation facilities.

According to him, the two inpatient health centers have adequate facilities to be a refuge for ODP, PDP and OTG in need of quarantine facilities.

“And the facilities they have are also sufficient to serve COVID-19 patients with ODP, OTG or PDP status without comorbidities,” Liza said Tuesday (5/5/2020).

The head of the Panunggangan Barat Health Center, Abu Khurairoh, explained that while serving as a refuge for patients in need of isolation facilities, puskesmas continues to serve the general public by implementing health protocols.

“As long as puskesmas is a haven of isolation, we will continue to provide services to the community by opening two poles, namely poly and general cough, cold and fever,” he said.

Abu explained that the Panunggangan Barat Health Center had 36 beds in nine isolation rooms. Each isolation room has two to 10 beds. There are currently six patients in the isolation ward at puskesmas.

“We also group patients by sex and state to be comfortable,” said Abu.
