Jakarta, CNN Indonesia – The Government through the Ministry of Peoples, Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration (PDTT) distributed Direct Cash Assistance (BLT) in the midst of a pandemic corona virus (Covid-19). The amount is Rp600 thousand per month for 3 months or a total of Rp1.8 million.

PDTT Village Minister Abdul Halim Iskandar said BLT funds came from the Village Fund that had previously been used for infrastructure development, such as roads and bridges. The BLT recipients were villagers in the economy affected by the coronavirus pandemic.

There are several conditions to obtain BLT. Those who can get BLT must have been recorded by their respective RT / RW. The people entering the data collection are those who have lost their livelihood due to the crown pandemic.

Village Fund BLT recipients are those who do not receive the Family Hope Program (PKH), Food Packages, Basic Food Packages, Other Non-Monetary Food Assistance (BPNT), to the Job Card. In other words, it is not registered as a recipient of central government social assistance.

Villagers who have not received social assistance from the central government but are not registered by the RT / RW, can notify village officials. Later, village officials will include in the data collection.

If registered, villagers can get BLT in cash or non-cash. In cash, BLT is administered from house to house or door to door

“The non-cash, directly transferred to the recipient’s account,” Abdul said April 27.

If there are villagers who want to receive BLT with a non-cash mechanism, but who do not yet have a bank account, there is no need to worry. You can contact the nearest village apparatus and state banks. The bank will make an account and without commissions.

If there are other obstacles, like not having a Population Identification Number (NIK) and a Resident Identity Card (KTP), you can still get help without first doing a KTP.

It is known that the Village Funds belonging to all villages tend to be diverse. Not all the same. In this regard, the Village Ministry PDTT has developed a mechanism.

Villages with village funds below Rp. $ 800 million per year will provide BLT with a maximum of 25 percent of the budget cap. The villages that have a village fund of Rp800 million to Rp1.2 billion then allocate a maximum of 30 percent of their funds to BLT.

Villages with a village fund of more than Rp1.2 billion provide 35 percent of the allocation for BLT. The Ministry did not establish a minimum allocation of Village Funds for BLT. In other words, village officials have the authority to determine the use of their BLT budget.
