YAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The government is updating the data from the Covid-19 case in Indonesia again on Monday (04/04/2020).
The information was relayed by a government spokesperson for the management of the coronavirus Achmad Yurianto at a press conference in Graha BNPB on Monday afternoon.
Yuri said that, according to data collected by the government as of 12:00 WIB on Monday, there were 395 additional new cases of Covid-19.
“Therefore, there are a total of 11,587 positive cases of Covid-19 (in Indonesia) to date,” said Yuri.

From the data he explained, new cases of Covid-19 positive patients were dispersed across 16 provinces, including DKI Jakarta, West Java, Central Java, and East Java.
Meanwhile, cases of Covid-19 transmission have so far occurred in 331 districts / cities in 34 provinces.
Referring to government data, the majority of Covid-19 transmission cases were in DKI Jakarta with 4,539 cases.
Then followed by West Java (1,252 cases), East Java (1,124 cases), Central Java (798 cases) and Banten (446 cases).
Yuri continued, the government also noted that there were 78 additional patients who had been declared cured of Covid-19.
“Thus, a total of 1,954 patients recovered,” Yuri said.

Yuri then declared the sad news with the addition of Covid-19 patients who died.
There were an additional 19 patients who died after testing positive for the coronavirus.
“So that the number of deceased patients is 864 people,” Yuri said.
The following is the distribution of Covid-19 cases in 34 provinces based on data compiled by the government until May 4, 2020:
1. Aceh: a total of 12 cases
2. Bali: 9 cases were added, a total of 271 cases
