The reason is because they do not have money and their houses are forced to live in gardens owned by the residents.

When people were first discovered, their condition was very alarming.

Because in addition to fatigue and hunger, a family of seven people, three of them are still young children and a mother is known to be pregnant.

Residents who know her condition evacuate her immediately.

For a time they lived in an old police building on Trans Sulawesi Road.

“Poor garden life for hungry citizens. Fortunately, many residents sympathize and provide food assistance so they can eat,” said Rahmawati, one of the residents who provided assistance, on Thursday (04/30/2020).

Meanwhile, Nurhidayat (57), the head of the family, claimed to be from Tolitoli, Central Sulawesi.

The reason for coming to Polewali Mandar was because he wanted to find relatives.

But after struggling to visit Polewali, his relatives had already moved and he and his family were confused about where to go.

“The plan is to find friends in Polewali because they no longer have a job in Tolitoli, but when they arrive in Polewali it turns out that the relevant person is no longer there,” Nurhidayat explained.
