LARANTUKA, KOMPAS.com – Landslides and flash floods occurred in East Flores, NTT, on Sunday (4/4/2021).
East Flores Deputy Regent Agustinus Boli said 63 residents in Nelelamadike Village, Ileboleng District, East Flores, NTT, were killed by landslides.

As of this afternoon, 23 bodies have been found.
“23 people were evacuated and some are still buried,” Agustino was quoted as saying. Compass tv, Sunday.

Flood
Disasters also occurred in the East Adonara district. In this area, the floods killed four people and destroyed dozens of houses in Waiwerang, Waiwerang Kota and Wairburak Village.
“Four victims have been found,” Agustín said through a short message.
It was previously reported that dozens of residents in Nelelamadike Village, Ileboleng District, East Flores, NTT, were buried by landslides while inside, early Sunday (4/4/2021).
The deputy ruling Flores del Este, Agus Boli, said he had asked the BPBD of Este de Flores and various parties to go to the countryside to evacuate the victims.
Landslides caused by heavy rains accompanied by strong winds that occurred from Saturday (3/4/2021) to Sunday.
In addition to the landslides, the heavy rains also caused the flooding of several parts of the area.
