JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – The terrorist suspect Bambang Setiono made a confession.
This is a suspected terrorist who was detained by the 88th Indonesian Police Anti-Terrorism Task Force in Mangga Dua, North Jakarta, on Monday (3/29/2021).
Bambang admitted that he was a supporter of the FPI.
His role was to plan the Molotov cocktail to demand Rizieq’s release.
“I Bambang Setiono has been sympathetic to FPI since early December 2020. (My involvement) is making materials from Zulaimi Agus’ black powder in Sukabumi. He plans to attack gas stations with Molotov cocktails to demand that HRS be free,” he said. Bambang through a recording received by KompasTV.
Bambang admitted that he knew of the manufacture of explosives by Zulaimi Agus on the orders of Habib Hussein Hasni in Condet, East Jakarta.
“Planning a slingshot and slingshot attack in case of riots during the demonstration. Planning to provide HClO3 powder to every DPC and DPW in the Bandung area via Habib Nabil and the Brebes area via Habib Hasan “, He said.
Apart from Bambang, there were confessions from 3 other terror suspects.
Among them are Wiloso Jati, Ahmad Junaidi and Zulaimi Agus.
The arrest was not long after the suicide bombing at the Cathedral Church, Makassar, South Sulawesi.
