Timeline of mobile brigade commander dies, felt happy after AstraZeneca vaccine

KOMPAS.com – One of the company commanders in the Maluku Police Mobile Brigade Unit, Iptu LT, died on Sunday (3/4/2021).

Maluku Regional Police Chief of Public Relations Kombes Pol Muhamad Roem Ohoirat said the deceased on Tuesday (3/30/2021) was injected with the AstraZeneca vaccine.

After receiving the vaccine, it was learned that the next day he had feverish symptoms and was rushed to the hospital.

“So on the 30th of yesterday the victim participated in the vaccination, the next day on the 31st the victim had a fever, then the victim and his wife went to the hospital. When they checked, there was no illness, then the victim was given medication. After that, the victim drank and recovered as usual, “he said.

Although it was considered that he was recovered, the previous night it was known that the deceased had experienced symptoms of difficulty breathing.

However, his party could not yet conclude on the cause of death of the deceased whether it was due to the injection of the vaccine or not. This is because, so far, a search on the history of his illness is still being carried out.

“So we cannot say that because of the vaccine, last night he had difficulty breathing at 12 o’clock and this morning his wife saw that her husband was lying on the sofa, then they took him to the hospital, he was already dead,” he said.

“When it comes to the disease history, I don’t know that we are still looking into it. What is clear is that again we cannot say that this is due to vaccines,” he added.
