Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The government has officially renewed the travel conditions and the validity period of the PCR antigen swab for domestic travelers. In this last requirement, the use of an exhalation-based coronavirus early detection tool, GeNose, is imposed as a travel requirement for all modes of transport.
This last travel requirement is contained in the Working Group Circular (SE) Number 12 of 2021. This provision replaces the previous SE Number 7 of 2021.
This last travel requirement is divided into two, for destinations outside the island of Java and outside the island of Java, as well as for the island of Bali.
Children under 5 years of age are not required to perform the RT-PCR / Antigen swab / GeNose test as a condition of travel.
The following are the most recent travel conditions effective April 1:
Bali island
Air, sea and land
– Displays RT-PCR results maximum 2×24 hours before departure – Maximum antigen 2×24 hours (previously 1×24 hours) before departure – GeNose test at airports, ports and terminals before departure
Island of Java and outside of Java
Air Transport
– Certificate of negative results of the RT-PCR test no later than 3×24 hours before departure – Certificate of negative results for antigen swabbing up to 2×24 hours before departure – Negative results of the GeNose test at the airport before departure Exit
Water transport
– Certificate of negative RT-PCR or antigen results 3×24 hours before departure – Negative results of the GeNose test at the port before departure
