6 teams that passed the Top 8 of the Menpora Cup 2021: Persib Possibilities of meeting Persebaya

Bola.com, Jakarta – Attention Menpora Cup 2021 is still in the group stage. However, there are already six teams that have confirmed the tickets of the 8 major phases, that is, of Groups A, B and C.

From Group A Menpora Cup 2021, Arema FC and Persikabo 1973 failed to break into the top 8. They both failed to compete with PSIS Semarang and Barito Putera.

PSIS Semarang emerged as the leader of the standings with a score of seven points, the result of two wins and a draw. The team nicknamed Mahesa Jenar is also the team with the most total goals as of Thursday (1/4/2021).

Meanwhile, Barito Putera, who heroically chased PSIS 0-3 in the first match and finished the match 3-3, came out as runner-up with a record of one win and two draws.

From Group B, Persija Jakarta, who lost in the first match, managed to emerge as the leader of the standings. They are accompanied by PSM Makassar with five points from a victory and two draws.

Group C still has to wait until April 7 to find out who will be against Persib Bandung and Bali United in the Big 8 phase.
