UPDATE: Distribution of 4,345 new Covid-19 cases, the highest in DKI Jakarta

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The government reported 4,345 additional cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.

As of Saturday (3/4/2021), the total number of Covid-19 patients in the country was 1,527,524 people. The addition of new cases extends to 32 provinces.

According to data from the Covid-19 Handling Task Force, the largest increase was recorded in DKI Jakarta with 1,098 cases, followed by Banten with 910 cases.

Meanwhile, cumulatively, Covid-19 patients who were declared cured increased by 5,197 people, bringing the number to 1,366,214.

Then there were 91 additional cases of death due to Covid-19. Thus, Covid-19 patients died to 41,242 people.

To date, the government has examined 12,876,662 Covid-19 specimens from 8,623,081 people sampled.

The Covid-19 case has affected 510 districts / cities in 34 provinces.
