Jakarta – President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) opened his voice about the pre-design of the Garuda, the State Palace in the new capital, East Kalimantan. Jokowi hopes that the State Palace will later become the pride of the nation.
Jokowi’s statement was broadcast via the @jokowi Twitter account as seen on Friday (2/4/2021). Jokowi wants the State Palace to reflect the progress of the nation.
“One of the proposals for the design of iconic buildings in the new capital city is the Nyoman Nuarta State Palace. I look forward to all your comments on the previous design,” Jokowi wrote while uploading the video.
“I hope that this State Palace will be the pride of the nation and at the same time reflect the progress of the nation,” continued Jokowi.
Jokowi expects input from all parties. In addition, Jokowi will invite more experts related to pre-design.
“With input later, I will invite architects and other experts to do the pre-design enrichment basic design State Palace, “Jokowi added.
