Papua Governor Lukas Enembe and two of his colleagues were deported by the Papua New Guinea (PNG) government after two days in Vanimo, Papua New Guinea. This was done because Lukas entered Papua New Guinea illegally.

Friday (4/2/1021).

Novianto said his group would examine Lukas Enembe. However, due to Luke’s condition being unhealthy, the exam was temporarily postponed.

“We will recognize him. Because his status is not suitable, it will be done later,” he said.

Novianto said that in addition to the Governor of Papua who crossed the borders illegally, there were two other people, namely Elin Wonda and Hendrik Abodondifu. Novianto also said that the PNG government’s deportation was a form of immigration action.

“To carry out the deportation, of course through the consulate that facilitates there, so that travel documents are made, that is, travel documents such as passports (SPLP),” he explained.
