DEPOK, KOMPAS.com – The house of the president of the 212 Alumni Brotherhood (PA), Slamet Maarif, in Cimanggis, Depok, West Java, was stoned again by an unknown person, on Thursday morning (1/4/2021). A similar case had previously occurred in February 2020.

Then, in December 2020, an unknown person also damaged his car in the garage of the same house.

The following is a list of facts from the last attack that took place on Slamet’s house.

1. Chronology

Stone throwing in the early hours of yesterday caused the window glass in Slamet’s house to shatter.

The window that was broken this time was the same one that was stoned last year.

“When we were sleeping, we suddenly heard the sound of a ‘gurgling’, the glass broke. We woke up, we looked back and there was nothing, then I suspected, maybe it’s how it used to be,” Slamet told reporters Thursday . .

Then he checked from inside the room, opened the curtains, and found that the prayer room window had been broken.

Slamet then reviewed the CCTV camera footage from his home and discovered that the incident occurred at 1:59 AM WIB, when unidentified people threw stones from a distance of about 2 meters from the target’s window.

“The perpetrator was four people, using two motorcycles. All the meetings, with helmets, entering through here (in front of the complex), then turning, until here he pulled again, he ran ”, he said.

“I’m also waiting, maybe it’s like first, back again, because back then. Apparently not. Until the call to prayer at dawn we were waiting for CCTV, four people and two motorcycles did not return,” Slamet said.

Slamet confirmed that no one was injured as a result of this incident.

He hopes that the terror that has occurred three times in his house between 2020-2021 will not happen again.

“We hope the third can be revealed. Hopefully from CCTV, the license plates can be read and so on, and we will hand it over to the police,” Slamet said.

2. Made by the same person

Slamet suspects that the perpetrator is the same person.

“It is reasonable to suspect that the perpetrators are the same between the first, second and third terror, because the mode is almost the same, the method is the same, the number is the same,” Slamet said.

“There are always 4 (perpetrators) who have the executor. The hours are all cleared in the early morning. The first is around 03:00 past, if the second is 02:59, now it is 01:59. Then around 02:00 is the average until before sunrise, “he said.

3. The previous attack has not been disclosed.

He said the first two cases had been reported to the police.

“Actually, it is not me who is embarrassed, but the one who is embarrassed by the police,” Slamet said.

Slamet claimed that he had been investigated until there was an investigation report (BAP) for the second case, it was even said that the Depok Metropolitan Police and Polda Metro Jaya intervened.

“Finally, as a citizen, I am now a bit confused about who else to ask for protection, because we have reported it twice as well, but it is still an incident,” Slamet said.

“We hope the third can be revealed, hopefully the CCTV license plates (camera footage) can be read and so on, and we will hand it over to the police. We really hope the incident does not happen again,” he added. continued.

4. Question the motive for the attack.

Slamet admitted that he was confused about the perpetrators’ motives. Because, he evaluated that the current political situation related to him was cooling down.

Slamet’s confusion has increased because recently there has been a terror throughout the country, namely the bombing of the church in Makassar, South Sulawesi, and the attack on the police headquarters in Jakarta.

“I don’t understand that, yeah, if there is a connection or not. I’m also confused, what is the connection?” he said.

Slamet also ruled out whether the terror was related to personal matters.
