JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The Minister of Law and Human Rights, Yasonna Laoly, affirmed that the government rejected the request for ratification of the management of the Democratic Party that was presented by the Moeldoko camp.
This request was submitted by Moeldoko and his friends after holding an Extraordinary Congress on behalf of the Democratic Party in Deli Serdang, North Sumatra, in early March.
“The government stated that the request for ratification of the results of the Extraordinary Congress in Deli Serdang, North Sumatra on March 5, 2021 was rejected,” said Yasonna Laoly.

Yasonna explained that Moeldoko and Jhoni Allen submitted a request for amendments to the Statutes / Regulations of the Democratic Party based on the results of the Extraordinary Congress in Deli Serdang.
They also proposed a change in the management of the Democratic Party as a result of the KLB.
Kemenkumham then examines and verifies the letter sent by Moeldoko’s camp.
However, Kemenkumham then asked Moeldoko to fill in the missing documents as a requirement.
“Regarding this letter, KLB Deli Serdang has submitted several additional documents,” Yasonna said.
After examining the document inspection completed by the KLB camp, the Ministry of Law and Human Rights still found a number of requirements that had not been met.
“There are still some teams that have not been fulfilled, among others the representatives of the DPD, DPC are not accompanied by the mandate of the head of the DPD and DPC,” said Yasonna.
