Tangerang Regency – The Special Team of the National Police Anti-Terrorism Detachment (Densus AT 88) arrested a suspected terrorist in Kelapa Dua, Tangerang Regency. The suspected terrorist with the initials AM was arrested at the Islamic Village House, Kelapa Dua, Tangerang Regency.
The head of Public Relations of Polda Metro, Jaya Kombes, Yusri Yunus, confirmed the arrest of the alleged terrorist. The suspected terrorist was arrested this morning.
“It is confirmed that today Wednesday March 24, 2021, at 07.45 WIB, in Jalan Komari 2, Islamic Village Housing, Kelapa Dua, Tangerang Regency, Banten, has been arrested by suspected terrorists on behalf of AM,” Yusri said in a statement., told reporters, Wednesday (3/24).
Also, Yusri said, currently the Densus Team was still in place. Tangsel police secure the arrest of the suspected terrorist.
The Densus 88 team is conducting a search of the home of the suspected AM terrorist.
“The steps of the police help Densus 88 to provide security for the TKP,” Yusri said.
The participation of this alleged terrorist AM is not yet known. Yusri said that the next statement will be given by the Police Headquarters.
