JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – It is known that Freddy Budiman, convicted of a death case in a drug case, gave the last message to his son, Fikri. This is because Fikri met his father in Nusakambangan prison a few hours before Freddy was executed.
The testimony of the seconds of Freddy’s execution was broadcast by Fikri through a video program with Gritte Agatha on Youtube Gritte. The video will air on March 17, 2021.
Before parting ways with his son, Freddy told Fikri to take care of his siblings and not cry. According to Fikri, the father always convinced himself that he was a strong son.
“Dad held both of my cheeks, Dad said,” Dad, go away, please take care of his younger siblings. “You can be a successful person, because Dad knows you are a strong person. Remember Dad’s message, after you get out of here , there is no more sadness, “” said Fikri.
Fikri admitted that the moment of separation between him and Freddy was the bitterest moment he had to face. He even had time to hug his father before being ordered out of Nusakambangan prison.

When Fikri got out of prison, Freddy was still cheering him on.
“I took a step from afar, the moment it hurt while looking at his (Freddy’s) face, he was still clenching his fists and cheering him on. As he approached the exit, he was still excited, I almost came out screaming: dad. “,” Fikri said.
After leaving Nusakambangan Prison, Fikri thought for a moment. However, he remembered his father’s message not to cry and be sad. That message made Fikri accept the fact that his father had been executed for a drug case.

Freddy was repeatedly caught in drug trafficking cases. Freddy is even known as one of the big drug traffickers in Indonesia with an international class network.
Being caught repeatedly in drug trafficking cases did not convert Freddy Jera. The drug case that caught the Surabaya man started in March 2009. At that time, the police ransacked Freddy’s residence at Surya Apartments, Cengkareng, Jakarta, Beret. Police found 500 grams of crystalline methamphetamine. At that time, he was sentenced to 3 years and 4 months.
After being released, Freddy again dealt with the authorities in 2011. At that time, he was arrested in Jalan Benyamin Sueb, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta. Police found evidence in the form of 300 grams of heroin, 27 grams of crystalline methamphetamine and 450 grams of ingredients for ecstasy. For his actions, Freddy was later sentenced to nine years in prison.

Barely a year behind bars in Cipinang Prison, Freddy has again dealt with law enforcement officers for drug trafficking cases. It is known that Freddy can still control drug trafficking from prison.
He was shown to be capable of organizing the smuggling of 1,412,476 ecstasy pills from China in May 2012. For his actions, Freddy was subsequently sentenced to death by the West Jakarta District Court Panel of Judges on July 15, 2013.
Freddy was then executed on July 29, 2016 at around 8:00 p.m. WIB in Nusakambangan Prison, Cilacap, Central Java. He was later buried in Surabaya, East Java.
