KOMPAS.TV – The National Police lost one of its members who served in the Ubud, Bali Police. It is Aiptu Anak Agung Gede Putra (54).
Aiptu Gede Putra died while on duty to secure the visit of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) in Gianyar, Bali on Tuesday (3/16/2021) afternoon.
Gianyar Police Chief AKBP Dewa Made Adnyana said Gede Putra allegedly died of a heart attack. This is because the police with the rank of Aiptu have a history of heart disease.

“Yes, he died, this afternoon during security and the arrival of RI-1 coincided with the arrival of RI-1,” Adnyana said when contacted Tuesday night, as quoted by Kompas.com.
Adnyana then explained the chronology of the event. According to him, Aiptu Gede Putra served in Pospol Catus Pata, Simpang Puri Ubud, while guarding President Joko Widodo’s visit to Gianyar.
At the post, Aiptu Gede Putra suddenly fainted and fell while on duty.
