The government reported the addition of 5,589 new confirmed COVID-19 cases on Monday (3/15/2021). The total number of confirmed patients is currently 1,425,044 COVID-19 cases.
DKI Jakarta has again become the province with the highest number of COVID-19 cases, i.e. 1,555, followed by West Java with 1,334 cases and Central Java with 700 cases.
Details of additional COVID-19 cases are as follows.
- Positive cases increased from 5,589 to 1,425,044
- Recovered patients increased from 6,830 to 1,249,947
- The number of patients who died increased from 147 to 38,573
Previously, on Sunday (3/14/2021) there were 1,419,455 positive cases, 1,243,117 recovered and 38,426 deaths.

- DKI Jakarta: 1,555 cases
- West Java: 1,334 cases
- Central Java: 700 cases
- Banten: 290 cases
- East Java: 257 cases
- East Kalimantan: 205 cases
- South Kalimantan: 175 cases
- DI Yogyakarta: 140 cases
- Central Kalimantan: 125 cases
- North Sumatra: 102 cases
- Bali: 100 cases
- East Nusa Tenggara: 83 cases
- Riau: 69 cases
- South Sumatra: 57 cases
- South Sulawesi: 54 cases
- Bangka Belitung: 49 cases
- Lampung: 47 cases
- North Kalimantan: 45 cases
- Papua: 45 cases
- West Nusa Tenggara: 42 cases
- Central Sulawesi: 30 cases
- West Sumatra: 22 cases
- North Maluku: 20 cases
