There are so many challenges to be able to operate this port.

Luhut said the government will also start to carry out another study over the next three months.

In addition, there is also the Bogowonto River, which is not far from there, and the YIA airport itself.

All the ministers agreed that they intend to carry out a complete study on this again, involving the UGM and the Merdeka Campus. To be finished later, “Luhut said.

The Governor of Yogyakarta, Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono X, hopes that all these efforts will be kept in line with the continuity of the YIA Airport.

“This settlement is not just a question of ports. But it also involves risks that should not occur at airports. We can understand,” said the sultan.

On another occasion, KKP Minister Wahyu revealed that the government intends to upgrade this port so that it becomes the center of a large fishing economy.

“How can we revitalize this and improve it so that we can live? Because it has been in development for a long time and it has never been operational,” Wahyu said.
