Bandung – A bus enters a ravine in Sumedang Regency, West Java. So far, 22 victims have been evacuated. However, there are still victims who have not been evacuated.
“Officers are still evacuating, the number of victims still on the bus cannot be determined,” AKBP Sumedang Police Chief Eko Prasetyo Robbyanto told reporters on Wednesday (10/3/2021) .
Eko said that according to existing data, the number of victims who died was recorded at 19 people. Dozens of people have been evacuated.
“So far 19 victims have been evacuated to the Puskesmas, yes, they are dead,” he said.
Earlier, Wado Puskesmas officer Yeye said that out of a total of 58 passengers, 22 passengers died. Currently, many victims are referred to Sumedang Regional Hospital. Yeye said there were still victims on the bus who had not yet been evacuated.
“(Up to) 22 people died, not all the details of those who entered the Puskesmas are known,” Yeye said, collecting data on the victims, on Wednesday (10/3/2021).
“Some have been referred to the RSUD, others have not been evacuated,” he said.
As is known, a bus fell in the area of the plantation in Wado, Sumedang Regency. It is known that there was a victim in the accident.
