Previously, the Attorney General of the Republic of Indonesia, Sanitiar Burhanuddin, revealed that the corruption case that occurred in PT Asabri (Persero) was a corruption case with the highest loss in Indonesia. The value of Asabri’s corruption losses is estimated at IDR 23.7 billion, higher than Jiwasraya’s losses.
“Ask for your prayers, the Asabri case is the largest corruption case in Indonesia, 23.7 trillion rupees, God willing, it will be solved, so I am not playing around here, with all the risks I have to finish.” ST said. Burhanuddin, in a podcast interview with Deddy Corbuzier, quoted on Thursday (2/18/2020).
So far, according to Sanitiar, the corruption cases are quite large and in fact involve the same people in the PT Asuransi Jiwasraya (Persero) corruption case. For example, Benny Tjokrosaputro, President of PT Hanson International Tbk (MYRX), and Heru Hidayat, President Commissioner of PT Trada Alam Minera Tbk (TRAM). The two were also named suspects in the Asabri corruption case.
However, he hopes that these client funds belonging to TNI-Polri members will not be lost. The AGO continues to aggressively investigate the assets belonging to the other suspects.
“Yesterday [di kasus] Jiwasraya Insurance [uang nasabah] it can come back, but there is one who has the same culprit. This means that it has been confiscated, we will do an asset trace, God willing, we can still do it, “said Sanitiar.
