KOMPAS.com – The government, through Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin, has officially issued regulations related to independent Covid-19 vaccination.
This is stated in the Regulation of the Minister of Health (Permenkes) Number 10 of 2021 regarding the Implementation of Vaccines in the Context of the Covid-19 Pandemic, which was stipulated on Wednesday (2/24/2021).
According to the Permenkes regulation, independent vaccination is called mutual vaccination.
“The implementation of the Covid-19 Vaccination as mentioned in paragraph (1) and paragraph (2) will be carried out through the Mutual Assistance Vaccination or Vaccination Program”, says article 3, paragraph 3 of the Permenkes.
The government officially issued a Mutual Cooperation vaccination policy. This provision is contained in PMK No 10 of 2021 on the Implementation of Vaccines in the Context of the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) Covid-19 Vaccination spokesperson Siti Nadia Tarmizi said that the Mutual Cooperation vaccine is different from government programs.
It revealed that the Sinovac, AstraZeneca, Novavax and Pfizer vaccines were not used in the Mutual Vaccination vaccine.

So what are the policies of the Mutual Vaccination Cooperation?
1. Vaccination with Covid-19 can be carried out by mutual cooperation vaccination to accelerate the vaccination program and develop group immunity.
2. The Gotong Royong vaccination is aimed at employees / employees / workers and families which are financed by the company. All recipients of the Gotong Royong vaccine will be free.
3. The Gotong Royong vaccination will not interfere with the government vaccination program because:
- The mutual aid vaccine should not use the Sinovac vaccine.
- Gotong Royong vaccination services are only implemented in qualifying private healthcare facilities, not in healthcare facilities.
- Vaccination against Gotong Royong will be carried out when the vaccine is available. The acquisition of this vaccine is the responsibility of the Ministry of BUMN and Biopharma.

4. The companies that will carry out the Mutual Cooperation vaccination must report the participants of the vaccination to the Ministry of Health.
5. The Covid-19 Gotong Royong vaccine type must obtain an emergency use authorization or the issuance of a distribution permit number (NIE) from the BPOM.
6. The distribution of the Covid-19 vaccine for mutual aid vaccination is carried out by PT Bio Farma to the facilities of private health services in collaboration with legal / commercial persons.
7. The quantity of Covid-19 vaccines distributed should match the needs of the legal entity / business entity. Covid-19 vaccine.
8. When implementing Mutual Cooperation vaccination, the implementing party should coordinate with the local city / district health office.
9. Each health service establishment must record and report electronically through the One Covid-19 Vaccination Data Information System or manually to send it to the local city / district health office.

10. The cost of mutual assistance vaccination services performed by public / private health service establishments should not exceed the maximum rate established by the Ministry of Health.
11. The Gotong Royong Vaccination Services will refer to the standards of service and standard operating procedures stipulated by each head of the health services facilities in accordance with the technical guidelines for vaccination.
12. All people who have received the Mutual Cooperation vaccine will receive a Covid-19 vaccination card or electronic certificate.
13. The handling of post-immunization follow-up events (AEFI) for the Gotong Royong vaccine will be the same as the handling of AEFI for government vaccination programs.
