SEMARANG, KOMPAS.com – The head of the election-winning division of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P) Bambang Wuryanto responded to the Governor of South Sulawesi, Nurdin Abdullah, of the Corruption Eradication Commission (OTT).

“But good people in politics are not enough, sometimes they forget themselves. They could also be targeted by other people. And the means to bring people down today are the forces of order. Everyone, sometimes, is They use tools to enforce the law, to bring people down, right? ”he explained.

The man who is familiarly called Bambang Pacul emphasized that currently the legal process must be properly obeyed and followed.

“But we must all stay up to the law, if they are sanctioned, do it right. What should not be violated in this republic, the law. Both the written law and the natural law, ”he said.

In order to obtain information, the Governor of South Sulawesi, Nurdin Abdullah, was arrested by the KPK together with the Secretary of Public Works and Land Management of South Sulawesi (PUTR) Edy Rahmat and Agung Sucipto as the project contractor.

The three were known to have been caught in a bribery case for the construction of a pedestrian zone in Bira, Bulukumba.

Nurdin Abdullah was named a suspect by the KPK on Friday (2/26/2021) in the case of alleged bribery and gratuity related to the procurement of goods and services and infrastructure development in the South Sulawesi provincial government for the budget year 2020-2021. .

The number one person in South Sulawesi is known to have accepted bribes through Edy Rahmat as a go-between for Agus Sucipto, who gave bribes worth Rs 2 billion.

Additionally, Nurdin Abdullah is suspected of taking bribes from other contractors, bringing the total money he received to 5.4 billion.
